A new Homeowner Education Series is coming to Grant County, offering residents practical, straightforward information about the homeownership process. This free quarterly series is designed to help current and future homeowners better understand the steps involved in purchasing and maintaining a home.
The first session, First-Time Homebuyer Bootcamp, will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Grant County Business & Conference Center. Participants will receive valuable information on:
- Key documents lenders require
- Credit scores and debt-to-income ratios
- Loan options and financing basics
- Upfront costs associated with purchasing a home
- Steps to prepare for a successful home purchase
The series is offered at no cost and is open to anyone interested in learning more about homeownership. Additional sessions will be held quarterly throughout the year.
